Who's your favorite villain and why

Mine would be hisoka from hunter hunter this man is the only character I've personally seen meet a person sense their potential help develop said character with specific intentions on killing them one day not to mention his skill level we have yet to see him actually fight a serious battle he has toyed with opponent after opponent and the one person we all knew would give him the fight he wanted was chrollo leader of the phantom troupé to bad the manga stopped before getting his nen back that would be a great match up

I'm sorry but I feel doffy was overhyped he didn't do anything that stood out he's like a stronger crocodile with better DF control and stronger haki but I'll admit way more sinister and unforgiving but I think that's only because he was raised as a CD and had it taken from him

Doctor Victor Von Doom

Simply put it....Doctor Doom isn't your ever day villain as he isn't simple minded and isn't neither driven by evil or greed as he has proven when he sacrificed himself to save earth by Onslaught along with the Fantastic Four, and the Avengers and Bruce Banner(The Hulk)....he has also prove despite being called a "heartless" villain by the public...The Beyonders made it even a fact that every earth but the one ruled by Doom was destroyed do to its leadership.

Magneto - Relatable. Powerful(most incarnations not currently) Intelligent. Well constructed and not flat out "evil" for chaos sake.
Orochimaru - pretty much same reasons. Though not as much relatable.. he's a bit more on the selfish side.

I wouldn't really call Hisoka a villain. More of like a antagonist at times or challenge for Gon.

OT: Probably Liquid Snake. Even though he was the villain, he was getting played the whole time by a higher, unknown entity.
