Because he didn't expressly say it was, to my knowledge. He's behind Road to Ninja, is the movie now canon as well? Are we acknowledging Menma to be an actual character in the Narutoverse? @The Bold, yeah, that's a plot hole. What UNSR did was just throw away entire points made in the manga, not to mention it isn't material from the manga. Giving it far less weight.

Material or work expressed by creators are usually considered canon, I can't go against his work specially with him being the creator like who or what gives me the right to go against it?

Blatent contradictions and the fact it's a video game. The original material, the manga, is foremost. When the video game butchers the time line of events to an extreme, it's safe to put it aside. Not to mention Road to Ninja, his work, is not considered canon.

I'm not stating that the manga it self isn't the main concept but it's kishimoto work himself , you wouldn't be able to sit across a table with him and deny of creator material as unillegitimate narusaku fans tried that we all see how that went just sayin.

Using this fight as fact is wrong bc we never saw it we dont know what jutsus Orochimaru used... in sasori's case we know that he started with 3rd Kazekage out, but still not enought.... so....

Name calling over a conversation over fictional characters means your rustled lol, Orcohimaru credibility went out the window he lied about going to steal information about Akatasuki which he did, He stated he wanted join Akatasuki he wanted to prove how strong he was so why lay face down flat on the floor for over 20 second if you wanted to prove how strong you are? Orochimaru is strong but i do believe him when he said he wasn't trying but Sasori wasn't clearly trying either he just got bested in the situation , Orochimaru had to do some bluffing to get what he wanted that's it.

Clearly your bias about the fight but when i mentioned how Sasori hadn't used anyother puppet besides the 3rd kazekage youtold me i can't be come to that conclusion but all of a sudden your coming to your own conclusion about him using summonings like manda lmao

Canon means any work from the original creator of the masterpiece like i said who are you take account of question kishimoto work , if he was sitting across from you right now would you be able to say to his face to pick & chose which of his work is legitimate let me guess your the head chairman for shonen?

Actually canon means material from the original owner of the franchise, KidGamer if you were to meet kishimoto and had a chance to ask him all the question for the series for a day would you?

Kishi only supervised the omakes, He didn't write them.

Besides, the legitimacy of games are beneath the Anime
when it comes to canon material. Thus it holds no weight.

Kishi may have given characters new designs, but that's only because he's asked to as it's his property. Drawing new designs or outfits isn't the same as writing the plot for them to appear in.
