Usopp : Brave warrior of the Sea.
Nami : Drawing the map of the world.
Luffy : Going to become the Pirate King.

All these quotes seems believable to such extent that they seem they will happen eventually.
Similarly, during hard battles, Luffy also announced that if he happens to die on his path to his dream, he would accept it. He doesn't care if he dies fighting for his dream.
Also, by using gear second in pre-time skip, he had put his body to danger. And that obviously shortened his life to some extent.
Apart from that, he gave away many years of his life span during Impel Down Arc.
So we don't know how many years are remaining in Luffy's hands.
Could it be that at some point during final battle of the series, during the fight for the throne of Pirate King, Luffy goes all out. And after winning, after few days or months or a year or two, Luffy dies.

Also guys, if we put Lufy's age at roughly 80 year life span, he currently lives to see his 60's. He isn't dying any time soon.
