With the environment giving access to the Giant trees They would take to teh trees or get hit with a rush of water. Kakuzu on the other hand opts out to use Lightning Gian which the Mizu would take note of and also note the level of Raiton being used. This would undoubtedly Kill all the clones on the water initially. But then afterwards the Mizu would replace the clones with more clones and proceed with the initial tactic of splitting up and trapping them.

This should effectively Catch Hidan and trap him in Water prison thus taking him out of the fight completely.

The scene is now Floating hollow trees and a blanket of water with the two being separate with Mist jutsu still active and them surrounded by clones.

Where was the orignal in all this? You never specified he was hiding amount the trees, so he gets electrocuted among the clones too. Base on my premise, Either Kakuzu or Hidan gets does the job done. Kakuzu, by canceling Mizu clones and Hidden Mist through "damage interference" via electrocution. Or by what I said about Hidan, gaining blood from a clone(which I will clarify from your rebuttal).

My scan above disagree, its possible that water can convert to a real temporal body, which can either duplicate the user, down to their real body (blood) or become a source of water, base on yours and mine scans.

The DB stats reflect a duplicate of the target, which is the opponent. So it goes by the range the mirror can cover. In no way does that validate capable of stopping wide-range/ AoE jutsus. The only ninjutsu thats capable of being reflected is Kakuzu's Raiton.

My strategy shows a clear counter to the Mizu sneak attacks back firing at him. It ends up him getting wounded on top of clones and Hidden Mist getting canceled out in the process.

Kakuzu will now reveal 2 ghost mask mixing fire and wind nature. Used twice:
1. Fire+Wind Stream (used against Kakashi) to counter Waterfall
2. The other is used to clear the field of water with a powered version of Zukokku

If Mizu attempts to send more Hidden Mist, Hidan engages him before he does it, forcing CQC, thus Kakuzu sends out ghost mask and use their Zombie combo[

]. But lets say Hidden mist was a success and Mizu swaps with a clone. It still doesnt matter, as the wind gale force removed Mist along with revealing Mizukage being consumed by the back lash the wind jutsu gives.
