If your Child was being bullied, how would you deal with it

Imagine your child being bullied, like straight up, knocked around, slammed into lockers, called names, by 1 guy.

Would you
a)Confront the child and threaten him
b)confront the child's parents(although the parents most likely wont do sh*t)
c)Tell your child to fight back(though the kid is like 3x his size)
d)have your kid moved to a different school(though that may complicate his education)
or e)other(explain)

C- tell my kid to fight back. Even if he doesn't win he asserts that he isn't an easy target and even if the bully does win he will realize that it's too much hassle to harass my kid so he will leave him alone and it will set an example to other kids

-learn the bullies schedule/whereabouts
-Acquire a baseball bat

Then it's just about timing. See him by himself, roll up in my car, hop out with the bat and mask on. Take everything he has and tell him not to mess with [enter kids name] or I'll be back for his legs.

But then he goes through 4 years of getting furiously beat down and harassed. I'm not agreeing with the people that say fight back because most of the times, that's just issuing a challenge, but the best option in this case is to move your kid or personally talking with the bully, but thats a stretch.

I'd tell them to stand up for themselves, and if they tried and failed by some means (are not a fighter, got beat up, fought but continues to get into fights) and the bully still messed with them, then I'd consult their parents.

If all else fails, I'd whoop the kids ass, and if their parents didn't discipline them, is beat the shit outta them too.

Hmmm I see, but if it's outside the school grounds its no longer a school issue, thats actually a crime where the police now has authority not the principal which will just get that person you asked for help thrown in jail.
