So as i've been playing more dota (and seriously, if you dont play, you should. its free. and not like league of legends, you get all dota heros for free and its a much more satisfying game) i've noticed some parallels to naruto characters.
Just a couple heros that can double as naruto people based on either their attacks OR their lore.
So later this week i'll make a good better looking thread with pictures, but for now, im gonna list some obvious ones. If you can think of any more if you play dota PLEASE comment them so i can add them to the full thread.
Again these are based on both the actual mechanics of an attack or the THEME of an attack etc:
Here we go:
First off, naruto equals phantom lancer. Not only can this dude make illusions at will, they also randomly spawn as he attacks. he can "launch" an illusion at someone like naruto throws his clones and he can disappear for a second and reappear with clones like naruto.
2) easily sasuke=vengeful spirit. Not only does the whole "vengeance" thing play in, but vengeful spirits ultimate move swaps her position with that of any other hero (like sasuke's rinnegan ability"
3) Rubick is much like kakashi. Given that kakashi seems to be the only sharingan user who EVER uses the sharingans primary feature of copying moves, rubick can duplicate any move he sees and use it himself.
4) I think lone druid seems a lot like kiba. unlike some other heros thats summons are short lived, this summon can carry its own items AND lone druid can turn HIMSELF into a bear like kiba can turn into a wolf with akumaru.
5)Deidara is like batrider because they both ride on these giant flying creatures and throw explosives out onto people.
6) Minato is so like phantom assassin. Not only do they use a throwing knife as their primary weapon, but they can teleport a short distance to attack. Thematically she seems a lot like minato how she throws a knife at the enemy, immediately teleports there, and then crits them for half their health.
I could think of more but i'm tired.
