The "Shinju" that Madara absorbed was nothing special, certainly not anything that could put him above Hagoromo (Or for that matter Obito) as Juubi Jins. It was just a piece of theJjuubi that was almost certainly Kaguya's consciousness. And we know why that didn't work out.

Agreed. Because he was already far above Obito before absorbing the Shinju.

It doesn't matter that Minato said Madara was stronger, if Obito can use the power more effectively. From what we saw in the manga, he did.

Abosrbing the Shinju made him immortal imo (take it or leave it) and it granted him the ability to use IT so yes it does give the user a something.
