Kakuzu will always know Raiton > His explosives. Doesn't really breath in air persay so C4 becomes harder to use, explosives are tanked with domu or the larger ones negated with gian.

How doesn't Kakuzu win?

I thought it was widely accepted that Deidara's bombs had the agility to outspeed linear and basic raiton?

Deidara is portrayed to be above Kakuzu, and his feats match up with that.

I restricted Kakuzu's lightning release now, it seems like too big an advantage over Deidara's earth release

How so my man?

Wind could blow away C4, causing deidara to breathe it in. His lightning was said to be able to split indefinitely, right? Counters the bombs. Jingou(tendrils) could yank deidara off birds and such. Grab bombs and toss them back at him. His masks could jump/glide/fly too. Just for starters.

Deidara obviously shits, Gian is never touching Deidara's guided attacks.

C2 is homed in on the opponent, Deidara doesn't control it after its launched, if its directly coming for Kakuzu obviously it can be struck by Gian :lol

C1's have been hit by slower jutsu, so it depends on Deidara's focus and how he's using them however Domu tanks C1's with ease so there's no point in arguing that.

Here we have two classic examples of:

-Deidara love Bias
-Kakuzu hate bias :Lol

Kakuzu can still win if Domu tanks C2's, fuuton is still agile and fast enough to catch Deidara in the air especially with such a large AoE . C4 would already be hard enough to strike Kakuzu as he doesn't require to breath in (could the bombs bypass his mask?)

Kakuzu shits. Don't restrict Raiton, that's stupid.

Raiton: Gian can multiply as many times as Kakuzu sees fit - Bombs are of no problem.
C4 is destroyed by Atsugai' sheer pressure.
Kakuzu goes airborne, and proceeds to shit on Deidara.

True that, never realized that :lol

Kakuzu doesn't win without Raiton.

Why do you say this? I'm still having trouble seeing how Deidara deals him damage, and it was his fuuton that would most likely KO Deidara.

As long as Deidara stays elevated high enough in the air, Fuuton won't be able to hit him on it's own. And without Raiton he can't deal with C3.

kakuzu still wins without rai'ton as long as deidara isn't going to{out-of-character - use the entirety of his clay on multiple c3 destroyer pidgeons

c1 & c2 are still inferior in tactical application to kakuzus long range mode combo

I don't belive deidara could get a chance to setup c4

and the attrition battle seems to favor kakuzu imo

How so? Its range is much larger than most people realize, and the fuuton mask is the one with the greatest flight/gliding abilities?

Oh >.> C3? Guess that's true although I believe he needs prep, as it requires mostly all of his chakra in one go.

If the mask can get close enough before he fires then yeah, he should be able to hit Deidara. But considering Deidara has C2 to prevent it from getting that high in the first place. Most of the attack's size is in it's AoE and not it's length anyway. Unless Deidara sits there he's not going to get hit.

All of his chakra? Don't remember that being the case, but I do think a bit of prep is needed, though it's not even long when compared to other types of prep.

By leangth you mean height? I suppose Deidara may be ablt to fly vertically but he'd have to come down at somepoint, and if he's using the C2 dragon that slows him down, allowing the heart to reach, meanwhile its hard to hit something that has a greater range of movement and agility with just a guided linear missile. Also can't the mask just point itself upwards having its AoE extend vertically?

Deidara may eventually get caught up though I suppose he can avoid it.

Why else would he need to bring it pre made? Its use must drain him of chakra severely enough so he's unable to continue fighting effectively.

It can be moved left and right, but it will always go forward. It clearly followed Sasuke, so dodging Gian shouldn't be a problem. Same applies with C1, you say C1 has been hit with slower jutsu but have no proof of that given C1 birds dodged Gaara's sand. And point is, if Deidara can force Kakuzu to activate Domu then he can have C3 end the fight while he lacks vision of C3 and while he lacks the ability to do anything about it (he'd need a full body Domu, which does disable his movements).
