And before people say minato hit obito, that doesnt prove much. Minato just anticipated obito, his technique wasnt faster.

Kamui phasing seems to be instant, so it's the same speed as FTG. FTG is faster than Kamui transporting.

Depends upon where you want to take the victim.

Kamui is faster. FTG requires prep time(you need to have FTG Kumui set in place at a certain location to perform FTG). Whereas Kamui only requires Obito's sharingan eye. :p Hokage Minato defeated an inexperienced young Obito with battle smarts and strategy. He timed his moves correctly. Thats how Obito lost. I would've loved to see Minato facing off adult Obito as it would've been a different story.

FTG.

Kamui teleportation takes a second or two. FTG is instant, and you can't get faster than instant.

Faster? FTG, Better? Kamui (Lord 4th admitted it himself so there's no arguing there)

wtf u mean ftg isnt fast obito mastered his sharringan that time he attacked konoha which means he can predict movements with his sharringan perfectly like sasuke, but still he got hit by minato even with his ms

Which part of Kamui are we talking about OP ?

Going through things or Warping ?

I would say FTG is faster vs Warping because it is instant.

Minato was smarter than Obito and FTG gave no time for reaction.

It'd still end with Obito taking a rasengan...it always does.. :th:

Minato has faster reactions than obito so his use of the ftg can be faster than obitos use of kamui. Reaction speed is also important.

What are you talking about? Kamui teleportation or phasing? Because if it's phasing, they're both instant, but if it's teleportation, then FTG is faster.

This I agree with. Even though FTG is faster (instant) and manages to replicate a few of Kamui's abilities, Kamui is still superior. Because it not only serves the functionality of teleportation of people and objects like FTG, but it does that without seals which is hax (which means any precise location in the world can be set as a target unlike FTG). Also, Kamui ninjutsu is a pretty good addition which adds to versatility. The best part is the intangibility which just hands down makes Kamui the superior technique.

Firstly, age only negligibly matters in NV so don't bring that in as a factor. And yes, I agree that Obito was dumbed down is his fight against Minato for Minato to win because Kamui is way too hax to handle even for an epic technique like FTG solely because of the intangibility factor. And yes, a second face-off between Minato and Obito would go in Obito's favor because of the superiority of Kamui (the first face-off would also be Obito's if he wasn't dumbed down). But if we're talking about teleportation speed only, then FTG is faster because Kamui warping takes time. But Kamui is overall superior.
