TSM vs RSM durability.

One tanked a blade with the cutting force to cut through the moon.

The other more or less tanked the aftermath of the indra arrow and frs clash.


Does RSM give durability or does it just allow access to bijuu chakra and tsm.

If that isn't the case, how did a sword manage to pierce him? Did kishimoto recton RSM durability just to show that he's rusty?

toneris sword has a huge AOE, but lacks power. quite a simple explanation.

naruto isnt extremely durable, not to anywhere near the extent of any specialized defensive techniques at least.
he is obviously much more durable than an average human simply because of his sage mode and kyuubi shroud, but not to the extent where he can tank a blade completely unguarded, especially sasukes kusanagi.

featwise, Ei in his raiton shroud is more durable than naruto even in six paths sage mode.

I know but not only SM but also KCM/BM shroud was there and I hope you remember that 4 tails V2 Naruto shroud was enough to withstand Katana from Orochimaru.

To be fair, Sasuke made the mistake of trying to pierce lightning with lightning against Ai. And RSM Naruto also "tanked" at hit from Chidori in VotE2 and was simply sent flying backwards without being cut/pierced.

We need more examples to compare, I just saw a chance to compare Chodori feats and point out a possible edge Ai had against Chidori specifically.

No it pierced him directly. Shin's MS ability allows him to manipulate objects he marks and that's what he did with Sasuke's sword to pierce Naruto.

that's because Ai's lightening cloak is a defensive technique that is meant to render attacks ineffective but Naruto's RSM/TSM are not purposefully defensive by nature attacks like bladed attacks will still reach him (case in point:jj madara getting stabbed) but what it does is also render the attack ineffective.. so whereas the attack will not harm/touch Ai with his shroud active, it may touch Naruto but not necessarily harm him

You mean like the sword was teleported inside him? I mean in order to do that, he'd need to open a space inside the said spot and then teleport the sword there, you really can't just simply place an object inside someone's body that way, without making an opening, of course unless shin can warp such tiny spots that fast that even RSM naruo didn't notice

It's like placing a knife inside a completely closed metal,Plus if shin can truly do that, then he is top 10 material

Forget the sword. That sword can cut anything flesh and blood very easily. RSM is superior to TSM regardless.
