You do realize that the events in the manga happen later right? 1+1 = 2. And 10 year old Sasuke, and any version of Itachi chronologically precede 17 year old EMS Sasuke receiving a Rikudou Power up (getting Rinnegan), and Adult Sasuke comes later as well. :sdo:

Where does it say he awakened it at age of 7?

All it says he mastered it at 8, and considering how he is praised he must have done it while being 8, i.e. within months.

Itachi's edo tensei died yet dozens of chapter black zetsu makes a comment that sasuke is dumber than itachi which was completely unnecessary, just put there for shitting on sasuke.

It is true that Itachi is always hyped, even by Sasuke himself. Heck he even managed to gain a new fanboy in Gaiden.

I disagree, Itachi is a great fighter but a case can be made for Sasuke as well. He always had excellent battle sense and skill ever since Shippuden, and he is a great improviser. He probably gained more skill over time.

Not that it's exactly canon, but that little snippet is exactly why i always took Konoha-nin's compliments with a grain of salt. They always inflated the hell out of each other's abilities and intellect to make the person sound like more than what they actually were.

Naruto franchise has never been a one man show, if you think that you need to re-consider.

In fact most of what the present naruto is came from his editor's brain.

How many things are you gonna deny that had kishimoto+other people's involvement, The Last?, Boruto?, Databook?. This is how Naruto universe is being continued, like it or not.

I was always cracked up when I saw claims that itachi was smart like hokage.

If he was so smart he wouldn't live a life of regret and realize early on that instead of listening to a creepy old who told him to hack away at all his clan, he should perhaps try to talk and reach a peaceful solution.
