we now know , thanks to punk hazard arc what happens to the floor or however it's said when akainu awakens his devil fruit , since that's what happens when he awakens his df , then what will happen to the mera-mera no mi?

will all the place be burning or what? i'm asking this cuz blackbeard is still thirsty for the mera mera no mi even though we know magma is > fire...

Akainu's awakening probably wasn't a pool of magma, cos his side of punk harzard was intact (I mean the floor and walls) if it were a pool of magma it would have changed the landscape, so I don't see ace creating a pool of fire, I feel the surrounding temperature would just get unbearably hot.

I think it was said that the Mera Mera belongs to the Logia class, and that the Logia are the most powerful of the Devil Fruit. I don't think the Mera Mera was intended to be portrayed as the most powerful.

• For zoans they kinda become like Choppers "monster form" like we saw with the Jailer Beasts (They didn't look that strong but I think that's cuz they didn't fully control it)

So I think mera mera awakening would some sort of fire monster or smth

From what I understood it was the ability to manipulate more than just your body with your devil fruit. Punk hazard is probably the best example because it shows that kuzan and Akainu turned the island into super cold and super hot environments. This is probably a bi product of them using their abilities on that environment instead of the direct result of them using their awakened powers on the environment.

TLDR: Akainu creates magma which over time leaves behind a boiling hot environment, Kuzan created ice attacks which left a sub zero environment so Ace would create fire that would leave behind a hot environment.

i know mera mera no mi is powerfull DF but not the most, i think akainu's is stronger & lots like fuji's & yami yami no mi even marco's DF is OP

IF he said that it was when Ace was being intro'd and only serving as a function to increase Ace's notoriety. That said in Dressrosa Gatz made mention of how Ace used to leave cities/islands like a living Hell with his fruit implying he left whole cities and islands burning because of the Mera Mera. I know people like to downplay Ace's abilities, but since common belief is he had no Armament haki at all maybe he had an awakened DF and that is what helped him survive in the NW, where Logia's without haki who rely on theirr DF's die quick.

Damn I'd like to see Jozu's awakening tbh. Or Marco's, assuming his DF can get any more overpowered.
