[Suggestion] Premium username colors

I wish there was a colour picker and we could just pick our own glow. But we can't because KotH perk....

I wish they would go back to the yellow premium glow. That purple isn't doing it for me..

I want teal tbh.

This was suggested even before KotH, but nothing happened.

Example:

Without having problems with KotH winners, allow KotH winners more options to not only be able to change colors but also allow them to where they can choose a specific graphic effect on there name whether it be rainbow colored, static effect, fireworks, or whatever other effect possible along with of course their custom userbar.

This is win win for both the site and users.
Premium subscriptions would recur more often increasing activity, and premium users as well as KotH winners are given more freedom with customizations.

Doesn't have to be a large selection of colors to choose from, 1-3 seems about a fair amount

We even asked for custom rep bar colors and I think they still ignored or have a BS answer

This would suffice. KotH winners can choose graphic effects and colour changes, but normal premiumians get to pick colours.

Agreed. You could pick that sweet spot to complete the avatar and bar combo to make it look complete. :')

They would look a little too dark from those ones in my signature because the name ones use the code. I agree though.

They could implement it in on the user group along with the other options such as color and no symbol.

I personally would root for such a feature, plus it would give the Premium members a chance to have different variety and a sense of individuality instead of those plain symbols that are rarely noticed.

I can answer this! The reason only certain colours are in use is to create a system of order. The reason premiums all have the same glow colour is to prevent confusion by new and even not so new members who would undoubtedly freak out if they saw a rainbow of glow colours. Also, from a design standpoint from what I remember is that it looks a bit tacky when there are so many variations of colours and the Admins don't want that. It's either all the premiums have the same colour, or no colour at all... At least that is my understanding. Back when it first came out, there was only yellow glow and a star and then the old premiums wanted no star; then some wanted no glow, then some wanted purple instead of yellow, then some wanted more symbols than just the star, and well now here we are... It's already a little bit discombobulated already but I do understand the desire for a different colour. Maybe we can get the colour changed once more as a whole and have it change once a year or something.
