I understand Sasuke at the end of the manga wanted to leave Konoha and see the world. I know he wanted to investigate the other dimension searching for clues about Kaguya but I believe he thought he missed out exploring the world when he was training with Oro.
Because if you think about it Kishi has always shown a lot of instances where Sasuke and Naruto are opposites (Yin/Yang) so after part 1 when Naruto went with Jiraiya and Sasuke went to Oro Naruto was out seeing the world with Jiraiya training on the way while Sasuke was in a hideout with Oro most likely training underground and barely getting to go outside and if he did he couldn't go to far because he knew leaf ninja were looking for him and Oro so I think Sasuke realized that he missed out on that opportunity so when he had it after the defeating Kaguya he took it and that's why I think he left Konoha right after the war
Y'all's thoughts?
