Avatar is one of my favorite shows of all time (you can probably tell by my status) and like Naruto, it deals heavily with the themes of redemption/forgiveness (mostly with zuko). This is an interesting part of the series, basically at the end Katara can't forgive the man who killed her mother its a very believable response given the circumstances. How do you think a message like this (sometimes, no matter what, forgiveness isn't possible and that's just how life is) compares and contrasts with the similar themes in a story like Naruto? For instance, I can't imagine Katara ever calling the man who killed her mother "awesome or cool" under any circumstances, even if they had 100 things in common. Since both stories basically target the same age groups which message do you think is better to send to the viewers/readers?
