[Suggestion] Dn game

I wanted to know whether we are allowed to host games like Death Note RPG in Chatterbox and if not could we be?

There is often long spans of time that elapses between phases and ppl tend to use that time to chat and whatnot, if we put it in the chatterbox then the only thing that players would have to bother the mods for is rude remarks and if the thread starts derailing then it is the Host's responsibility to either try to rectify it or get the thread closed.

Anyway this was just a thought I had.

In most other games I play it warrants staying in character. DN doesn't so the temptation to talk to each other and goof off is higher

Make a discussion thread made for all DN games and sticky it. Any other discussion off topic needs to be taken to VM/PM.

his idea is good in DN we always go off topic and talk until the host says its voting time or discussion etc so if you dont play dont talk.

A discussion thread would be for discussing the game right? :wut:
What would be the point of that? if ppl could just play normally speaking only about the game then doing it the normal way would be fine.

VM and PM are only for one on one discussion,

Its not spam if it's in the chatterbox though right? :| and a thread "filled" with spam wouldn't be able to function. Ppl would get more absorbed in their discussion making it hard for players and the host to keep track of what is going on.

That is y the host would have to moderate it. If the freedom to have light conversation proves to be too much for the players then the game can either go back to the old way of doing things or it will probably just die out

Because no one wants to hosts games where players can't control themselves and every game just ends in disaster

This is an RPG. The correct section would be the Non-Naruto Role Playing section. You can also do this is in a group. I don't think Chatterbox is the correct the section to place this. But you can contact an admin and ask for there permission.

Yes. You can make a group for pretty much any purpose. As long as Global Rules are followed. A Death Note RP group can be made.

Well a DN group already exists, but it is pretty much there for discussion and screenshots.

If we were to do games in the group I think it would be best to make a new group strictly to play games in.

If that still sounds cool then u can close the thread
