I havent watched it yet but a friend of mine recommended to watch it

So i checked it out on animelist

IT seems to have finished airing with 52 episodes???

But the manga seems to continue upto this day(i saw a list of the newest manga releases and saw the animes name)

So did the anime got cancelled or something??

Or is the ongoing manga like filler or something so as saying not necessary to read??

My friend said it was a rly good anime and didnt say anything like "the anime isnt finished" or somethin like tht

So im confused of what happend?Anyone explain

I don't know anything about the manga since I never read it.

I don't really know how to answer any of your other questions either, but there are several seasons, movies, and OVA's, some of which aired as recently as 2013 - 14. I'm pretty sure it was never cancelled.

My advice to you is to stop thinking about it, watch the anime, and see if you like it. If you finish the anime and if you liked it and want more, then you can check out the manga. You can also do it the other way around; read the manga first and if you like it, check out the anime.

So many anime adaptations never complete the source. :lol If he is anime-only, how would he know if the anime ever completely adapted the series? Big difference between an anime being "completed" and having had it completely adapt the series. It either just stopped at some point, or an anime original ending.
