The opportunities for world-building and story depth are limitless and it would've made way more sense given their importance to the story instead of licking Uchiha taint for the first half of Shippuden.

An interesting alternative but would sacrifice a LOT of the best sh*t Shippuden had to offer. I would've taken a few of these sprinkled around existing arcs though. Would've made Jiraiya's death a bigger deal. World-building like that would've been nice.

Wow, Part 2 of Rappuden was actually really cool. Had some great moments of animation & it was cute seeing the Jins interact. Had a real 'Seven Samurai' vibe to it.

What's original in this team?
we always complain about the excessive use of these big powers by Kishi and then you would like to see 9 specular characters in a team and possibly focus the writing on them...
I don't like bijuu bombs, exactly how i don't like susanoo spam, - and the lava style is not enough for me.
I miss when Naruto went wild and then freed the Kyubi; a far cry from the boring perfect jin.

You can't blame Kishi. I bet he wanted to do so many things but he has to use his time wisely, I don't think he would want to do Naruto for a lot longer.

I have been thinking this for a while. They could have been used a simliar ways as Fairy Tail does with Dragon Slayers. It works out nicely in my opinion. Instead of giving one all the powers you devide it with each shonobi.

On a second note Kishi would have to completly change the story to make it happen. Meaning Naruto would have to stop wanking Sasuke 24/7.
