What they never notice it that an exhausted Itachi in his deathbed maintained that Susano'o for 5 minutes.

So what if Itachi uses Susano'o as soon as the battle starts?

I think you're missing the point. If a gravely sick Itachi could use a Susanoo of this level:

for 10 minutes, and after using shadow clones, amaterasu, tsukuyomi and katon, he could easily manage a ribcage Susanoo (which is all he really needs most of the time - alive or edo).

Itachi needed a night's sleep to recover for two three second Tsukuyomis well before illness set in. If he tries to keep that large chakra construct running for any longer than a few minutes, he'll be in his grave.

It is for that exact reason that he never used it unless there were no other options.

Due to itachi's illness, yes his stamina is abysmal by the end if the battle wjen itachi used susano itachi was fighting on pure willpower alone. Also; did somebody just compare Madara's susano to Itachi's susano????my sides !!!!
