No. Despite Obito thinking he would just warp him faster, Minato has reaction feats suggesting he would port away in time before being completely sucked in. Also Sasuke was able to summon his hawk in Kaguya's dimension so I'm under the impression that Minato would be able to teleport out of Kamui via FTG since the Hiraishin is really just reverse summoning. But that's possibly speculation for another topic.

I feel minato did not know enough about Kamui(he believed it was instant like FTG), the manga has shown that Kamui isn't instant.

When Tobirama is placing his mark on somebody, it is not instant.
When Obito is warping somebody with hand contact, it's not instant.
When Sasuke throws his sword, getting ready to swap, it's not instant.

It's when you are currently using the justu that it becomes instant. So sliding himself into dimensions is an instant spacetime technique just like how Sasuke swap places or minato teleport towards his already placed kunai knives.
