I hope it's 720p, vita is around 540p. I'll be fine with ps3 level graphics

Seeing how I had a 3ds graphics isn't a big issue for me. I am more concerned about the game library, that is y I personally think the portable and home console sharing an OS is such a good move. From what heard the reason a lot of big name companies didn't flock to the vita over the 3ds is because it's was easier to design games for the 3ds.

Now that the portable and home console NX will share OS any company that has worked on putting games on the home console will have just as easy a time porting games to the handheld.

Nintendo has also already been handing out development kits to publishers since 2015 E3 and Nintendo has also been doing a lot of working with independent developers

I got to admit I lost some interest after reading that. Going strictly digital is a terrible idea on many levels, I get they're trying to be unique and establish their own path among consoles. But that idea sucks ass if physical copies aren't available.

It's still early and maybe this "leak" will help Nintendo with questions they had in development. But if they release it without physical copies I'm not buying. Sony tried that crap with the PSP Go and it's was ****ing terrible.

What was wrong with the PSP GO btw. I always just thought it was a dumb idea at the wrong time seeing how back then ppl weren't so used to downloads and not nearly as many ppl had fast internet. :|

I had fast internet but it still took forever for it to get on the system. Not to mention when you buy the system you can't play it right away because you have to wait for the download which murdered the battery.

It was just overall bad but the battery life was the worst.

Well sure, you have to experience it realize how much of a pain in the ass it is. It's a lot simpler to just pop in a physical copy like with the vita.

Well yeah, nothing beats having what u want when u want it, but it sounds pretty much like playing games off of your smart phone which a lot of ppl do all the time.

Smartphone developing is this gen's 'Motion Controls' gimmick then it seems. I can already tell you it's crap and app games are for little kids & toilet sitters.

I don't want to play feature or even small games on my phone. That sh*t has a pansy enough battery as it is. It's exciting buying a new console or handheld. You don't want games to merge into the appstore, you really don't.

If Nintendo fail with this one then they've officially dropped the ball forever. I still reckon they should put all their effort into their amazing handhelds and ditch the console game forever.

Well it usually doesn't take 6 hours for a smart phone app game to download. The sizes of the files are two different classes usually.

Home consoles now with high speed internet can download full games in a third of that time :|

Oh wow thank you for that fun fact. -_______-

I'm talking about the handheld mostly but overall it's still the same as the GO. For it to be effective you had to have a ps3 and the Go in theory, but not everyone can afford both.

"First and foremost, the source claims that NX is a common software platform that will unify the company's future home console, handheld devices and third-party smartphones."

They're doing it already with Pokemon GO & Pokemon shuffle

Well I knew from buying the new 3ds that apparently one of the things that effect the system download time is the hardware. The new 3ds has a faster processor than the 3ds and as a result the downloads take much less time.

But as for the PSgo and PS3 if u can't afford to buy both y not just buy one. :wut: The PS Vita works in a similar way yet ppl still buy either product right? Besides if NX really does ditch the Blu ray drive then that will cut the price of the system down a lot.

:lol dude Nintendo is just expanding into the mobile market as well it has nothing to do with the make up of the new systems. The common software program is just to share data across all platforms. An example would be u being able to access your account purchases on your phone or portable console or having features from the mobile game that will lead ppl to want to access the console. Now I would be lying if I said that the NX and mobiles would be unaffiliated. Nintendo is planning on using the games that they bring to the mobile market to get consumers interested in the gaming consoles.

What did u think when u read "that NX is a common software platform that will unify the company's future home console, handheld devices and third-party smartphones"
