Try to explain why Boruto is like Naruto, as a character. Not because they look alike. Then I'll hear you out and concede your thoughts. Just know that I've seen the movie and have asked enough questions from people who could understand Japanese that I have a full grasp of his character and the differences/comparison between him and his father.

Team Konohamaru all get along, in fact Boruto/Sarada are actually good friends in the movie. Despite them having quarells, Sarada respects his space, and despite Boruto's 'tsundere' like attitude. He wants her to succeed as well. You see them care for each other throughout the movie.

The same goes for Mitsuki who doesn't have any conflict with his team mates.

Yeah they all saw Naruto in him, but what does that have to do with him being like Naruto when he isn't? No one else visualzed Naruto until Boruto put on Naruto's jacket, Sasuke's headband, and then said "Believe in me" which was reminiscence to a phrase Naruto said when he was younger.

Sarada also have a interest towards Boruto, more enough to watch his training because she was curious since he doesn't train often. Even after he failed to impress Sasuke with the size of the Rasengan, Sarada came from the bushes and told Sasuke that he is always being too strict, and that Boruto worked extremely hard to learn his Rasengan, which is something he doesn't do at all. Before Sasuke got to react, Boruto's Rasengan made an appearance after Boruto left, and then Sasuke said "I already took him as my student"

Then Sarada got all cheerful and began to run to tell him the good news.

Are you going to tell me that Sarada isn't a good friend to Boruto :lol
