Naruto can actually survive on his own in battle it does apply to many more but i dont remember sakura even being by herself vs an elite enemy actually holding her own.

Naruto's defeated Pain's (not listing specific Pains, because I can't remember which one or one(s) he defeated by himself without the help from his frog summonings and the Kyuubi) on his own without any help, he defeated Kakuzu without any help, he defeated Kiba without any help, he defeated that Chunin fodder in the beginning of the series without any help, and I'm just going off the top of my head.

Hell I don't really see the point of generalizing Naruto and Kurama, you are acting like they are two people when they are one. He lives in Naruto's body, even if Naruto isn't using his power he's still there.
