[Discussion] Would this change the result at Marineford?

When whitebeard's ship was coated so it could go under water they would bypass the marine's defenses. Couldn't whitebeard's ship have landed up against the oris plaza. Before aokiji froze the bay. It would have made a difference right. Realistically speaking would've made sense to land on marineford's island as close as possible. I know due to plot since Luffy and pirates wouldn't have to run further to get to the execution platform. Could have been a little more common sense on whitebeard's part?

even if he started from where he was in the war if he had just joined the fight from the very beginning when all his commanders were at a 100% and marco was keeping kizaru busy and aokiji was away plotting his life away, he would have wrecked marine ford before luffy even got there

I don't know, since they'll still have the same number of opponents, though smaller space to fight, also the marines could just raise the steel gates if that happens.

It's plot, White beard could have used his Hali to knockout all of the weak marines like Luffy did to some of them; after 2 years Luffy can knock out 50k fishermans who are stronger than normal humans but White beard who is many times stronger couldn't do this? That would leave all of White Beard men able to not only fight the admirals but break thru to save Ace all before Luffy got there.

No a better thought out scenario would be; if Luffy and his crew post-timeskip were there + all the coliseum warriors who have pledged their loyalty to Luffy turned up in marineford.

I theorise things would've ended a lot differently. At least Luffy + Ace could've gotten away until Shanks came and ended the war.
