The reason why juubi jin madara could use kamui and obito couldn't is quite simple. Madara is no ordinary uchiha, he along with sasuke are Indra incarnates.

Its only natural he could use all uchiha related jutsu naturally without flaw. You people need to understand Indra/Ashura incarnates are far beyond standard shinobi, even the gifted ones. Their power transcends plot. :Sparks:

HxH, there are people living far more powerful than the main characters. Same for yu yu hakusho. DBZ, no matter how you look at it, Goku is not the strongest. Now that dragonball super, we know there are at least 2 people that is always stronger than Goku or can give him a run for his money. One piece, Luffy is not the strongest. Always people there that can beat him if needed. Fairy tails, main characters ain't the strongest.

NV, Naruto and Sasuke is the strongest, no other shinobi can come close to them unless they break out the 8th gate. Hagoromo talk about no one man should have all that chakra, but allow Naruto to have all that bijuus chakra. Now, we all sitting back knowing how every battle gonna play out in the future.

Honestly, when everybody was under the IT effect, It would've been perfect if kaguya accidentally affected everybody under the IT with her chakra. Allowing all the people under a genjutsu awaken hidden power down the road. This would balanced out the the power level between shinobi world and Naruto/Sasuke!

Well to be fair, Madara used a different technique than Obito did. Obito tried to shift through objects while Madara used a dimension jump with the same eye.

Kakashi stated that the eyes technique had two different mechanics to it.
