Kaguya has goal confirmed

Momoshiki and Kinishiki served under Kaguya and their intention is to fulfill Kaguya wish = She has goal all along

It's a matter that we had no idea what her goal was. Kishi wouldn't give us the answer we needed for the longest after the manga ended even the movies didn't explain anything more about kaguya backstory and her motives thus people would conclude that she has none.

If I am not mistaken the reason Kaguya had the Zetsu army was to protect the Shinjuu from other Ootsutsuki out there

I think according to the novel there are still other Ootsutsuki out there, because Momoshiki isn't the threat that SAsuke was talking about.

I don't see as necessary bad thing if they had to give flesh out kaguya character by giving more backstory stuff that will make up all this loose ending unlike Kishi

She only said she was preparing an army, everything else is speculation/assumptions. I wish Kishi went deeper on it.

You know I'm starting to think that she already had power like the rest of her family but not enough & that's why she sought out the fruit. But her sons inherited it, she flipped & didn't want the 5-village region to go through the same limbo as her home land. And so she created an army.
