Why can't Kabuto desactivate Sage Mode???

When Orochimaru touched him while he was in the Limbo, he took back his Chakra and turn off the Sage Mode, when that happened Kabuto turned back to normal but in Gaiden he is still in that form, someone knows why?

Because he has Orochimaru and Jugo's DNA still inside him.

Kabuto changed or altered his genetics in order for his body to be strong enough to sustain DSM.

Probably because it wasn't natural. What are normally just "side affects" to using Sage Mode became the genetic make up of his being due to him using genes and cells to replicate the affect.

It's almost like he became some kind of Prehistoric Sage, where it wasn't a "mode" but his actual dna. I would think that Juugos ancenstors probably had natural physical deformities being a purer form of Sages

Orochimaru never took away his sage mode only his own chakra and left everythnig else. The look is the result of the white snake Kabuto Cultivated and gound up in Oro's labe then injected into his own body along with Juugo, and the Sound 5's DNA as well. Making him look like that.
