It's not his Rasengan, it was powered by Naruto and Sasuke, he just moved it.

Even Tenten and Kiba did such a feat in the war arc. :lol
It was powered by only Naruto.

No the difference between what Ten Ten and the rest of the k11 did was, they were granted a Rasengan. Boruto/Naruto performed the same feat as Minato/Naruto in the war.

It's two different processes, they had to work together, and he had to hold the chakra. Overall it was Naruto doing the work when it came to chakra transferring his into Boruto's Rasengan.

Yea someone corrected me already about who gave him chakra.

It's true Boruto did some work in initiating the Rasengan, but Naruto made it massive before Boruto controlled it, that's my point.

It doesn't take anything away from Boruto, he is just a Genin after all, but we need to put things in perspective.

Yeah I think the biggest difference is that Minato/Naruto could work together well since their reserves were on a matched level, while Boruto is just light-years away from his father.

It's basically Kishimoto's version of Father/Son Kamehama

What the hell is "base chakra"? And what was the need of specifically mentioning "base" chakra? Wasn't "chakra" enough?

This ^^^.

Asspull or not, it was something to give Boruto some relevance in that fight. Stupidest thing was why didn't Naruto do it himself, more reason as to why it's just to give Boruto some relevance.
Because the rasengan was so powerful because of naruto. Naruto didnt use sm,bsm or rsm for that. Just his own power.

Not exactly since in DBZ Gohan (SSJ2) was actually a lot more powerful than Goku and he was the one with the power output, but on a symbolical level yes it's similar.

Yeah I think we both know I wasn't trying to say Boruto could have fought Momoshiki aka Cell on equal level lmao

His power input was rather weak, but the comparisons to Gohan are there I guess. I have those DBZ/Boruto movie parallels in my photobucket, it's actually quite weird how Kishimoto incorporated a lot of DBZ into this movie alone.

I just find it ironic cause he didn't mention taking ideas from DBZ in his interview about making the movie

XD

Kishi Kishi :lol

All Boruto needs is Sasuke to teach him kenjutsu, and Boruto to start carrying a sword.

So, I've just had a terrifying thought. With Katasuke being an inventor of a device of that can store and use jutsu, and Naruto not approving of it. What if Katasuke turns evil and builds robots that can artificially use jutsu and sets them lose on the village? Naruto does not approve of the devices, and Katasuke wants revenge.

Imagine Boruto as Future Gohan. Defending the Leaf, after his father and master (Sasuke) pass away.

Kishi rips off Goku and Gohan's father-son Kamehameha, against Cell; with Naruto and Boruto's Super Odama Rasengan.

Naruto made it giant, the same way he did for the K11 during the War Arc.

The video of it launching Momoshiki into space has been taken down, but yeah. Just a copy and paste of what Gohan did to Cell.

Not the first time it happened. Naruto did father son rasengan with minato in a movie too.

That was a non canon movie though. But still an amazing movie. No homo but Minato looked legendary in that entrance.
