Obvious is obvious, I know, but what I want to know is how.

Half of the bijuu were behind him (360° vision confirmed) Sasuke and he still got them, but Sakura, Kakashi, and Naruto didn't get caught even though they were closer to him.

It seems to me that Sasuke is too OP.

It's just because it was the last fight. The manga's story all comes down to Naruto and Sasuke determining the future of the shinobi world on their own. Using Kakashi and Sasuke, even if it were as weapons, would've taken away from that.

This was about the Sage, his powers, and his two sons. So only Naruto, Sasuke, and the tailed beasts were involved. Kakashi and Sakura have no real relevance to the story's primary objective
