Well no Rinnegan user has ever shown this type of ability. I know the tail beasts are supposedly chakra forms but I haven't seen anything besides the Gedo Mazou absorb them. Oddly it seems the Sharingan grants users more power over the tailed beasts than the Rinnegan.

Won't do much against such an enormous construct. He will only end up wasting a massive amount of chakra if he tries to do it. Since neither absorbing or repelling are viable strategies, the best way to fight is to make a similar enormous construct which Momoshinki did by making a Lava Golem.
