everyone claims the new gen are carbon copies when in fact only shikadai is. his temari eyes don't do diddly bc shikamaru had sly eyes too.

everyone else may resemble their parents but no shit you naggers, it's their parents.

you can't say sarada is a copy bc people thought she was karins. it's just her clothes.

ppl say boruto is a copy of Naruto but he's not, it's just the blonde hair but I mean HE IS IS SON no duh. and kids also inheret personality traits from their parents. boruto is mischievous and hardheaded like Naruto but also more openly considerate and passionate like hinata.

chocho is just kishi not being that well diversed in making black characters. we appreciate it though.

a real carbon copy would be the main character from tales of destiny and his son in the 2nd one.

There's a thing called chromosome crossover and another thing called genetic linkage. The former means that sometimes traits are mixed into new ones (for example, dark brown hair + light brown hair = medium brown hair, or less obvious combinations), the latter means that some traits are inherited together (skin and hair colors are often linked, in reality you don't get people whose natural skin and hair shades clash). Genetics are more complicated than how Kishi draws them.

No originality what's so ever.

Chou CHou's design is more fluent but it would have been cooler if she was a bit less ... fat? I don't see the point of having a fat kid when they are shinobi. Inojin's is only done right in the anime, when Kishimoto colors it he looks really pale.

Metal Lee is the worst when it comes to originality... Along with Shikidai. Boruto looks like Naruto except his outfit is unique, not to mention his hair is crazy which doesn't really look that good.

Himawari basically looks like Hinata too.

I guess it's realistic in that sense, right? I mean I look a lot like my dad, more than my mom. I don't know about perfect mixes though.
