Now where the power originated, I don't know.

This i dont believe seals give powers. Creating kakashi a new eye and saving guy has to be from his yang chakra yin and yand release i think they are from his rsm

I figured that when he blew off his arm that he lost the ability. It was the seals that allowed him the power. Look at the panels. Each feat was used by that same hand. It makes sense losing the arm cost him his ability, since it's dependent on his hand. It's not like Sasuke who had his power in his eyes. Naruto had the Sage's body.

The same logic also goes to Sasuke, if he wanted to grow back his arm he could have.

I think Kishimoto put more meaning behind someone else giving them a fake arm due to the action of them losing their arms being meaningless. If Naruto could just re-create his arm, then the powerful message it was made for would have been for nothing.

Indeed. Plus Kishi had to make it so they COMPLETELY stalemated. Which is why things like ALL of the nature energy being used up was emphasised. Re-growing arms can't be easy lel
