No you can only go by Dragon Balls epilogue since its the only relevant material on Pan. But yeah their both similar in appearance out of all the characters in Dragon Ball.

I wasnt saying they arent similar, just not genetic/character parallel wise(Vegeta/Sasuke Sayain/Ucihia and their daughters and blah blah blah). Only thing they have in common is black hair and eyes, super strength is the norm in DB.

Id say Sasuke is more Vegeta than Piccolo, only from the movie do we ever see him as a teacher.
Sakura bulma, helpful with some stuff, but not really getting into fights.
Sai is Yamcha or Tien, once considered strong and helpful but couldnt stand up to the strengths of the others,
Gaara as Piccolo maybe, not as a teacher more as someone evil turning good and i guess as kazekage sort of a teacher.
jiraiya master roshi as they are both perverts
Orochimaru-buu since he is sorta evil but i guess from the gaiden is no longer really evil or something? Plus he has multiple forms
andriod 18-temari as both seem like strong sassy women
Lee as Krillin- loveable but no longer a strong opponent.
