If the Other Villages had the Nine Tails Attack

Do you think the other Shinobi Villages would've been able to restrain the Nine Tails? And could they do it without killing the beast?

This is the villages of the Kage Summit Era, except, Konoha early Part 2.

Konoha: I honestly think Tsunade is better than Minato for this. She has the ability to put the beast down in a few hits, and paired with Sakura, Kiba, Chouji, and the Nara Clan, they should be able to restrain the beast. Tsunade with Early Part Two Sakura should be able to kill it.

Kumo: Kumo seems to have the strongest overall village. Even if we restrict Bee, Ay is fast enough to evade TBB, Darui and the Raiton users can continuously fire concussive blasts at The Kyuubi, and the Rubber Man(forgot his name) should be able to protect the village from the loose ends. The biggest issue is range here, but if the Raikage, and the swordsmen of the Cloud can mount the Kyuubi, they should be able to kill it. Without Bee, I don't see them Restraining it.

Suna: They should take this the easiest, with Gaara. Gaara can easily shield the village from unfocused TBB, and Fuuton users continuously Batter the beast, while Gaara holds it down. Kankuro is pretty much useless except for helping the masses. After a long battle, Gaara should be able to restrain the Kyuubi. I don't think they have any hope of killing Kurama though.

Iwa: Now they could kill Kurama the easiest, by momentarily holding him down, and using Jinton to erase him. Restraining him should be fairly harder though, due to the Brittle nature of rock.

Kiri: Without the Swordsman, they have zero hope of winning. Their best bet is a retreat, using the mist jutsu.

The problem with Tailed beasts is that you can't actually kill the best.

Even if it's host die, they still have the ability to just revive again.

Are you sure? Ay isn't very far off from his father, and has the same tanking ability. Onoki can Jinton him, being that a rampaging beast isn't going to target anyone specific, and Gaara can sink, and pyramid him. Minato had piss poor power at the time, and speed wasn't helping anybody.

3rd raikage took down all the limbs of eight tails so cloud village would have a good chance restraining it. With that being said konoha had the best potential to stopping kurama

I think the best bet is to get karin into Konoha so they can seal it into her.

Uchihas, senjus with mokuton, and uzamaki's with chakra chains are good in suppressing bijuu power.
Tsunade maybe able to become a jinichuuriki because of her lineage/genetics

Lightning village MIGHT win
Sand gets absolutely shrecked by continuous TBB
Rock village - maybe, but kurama can probably evade jinton, he's pretty darn fast.

Tailed beasts aren't really mindless morons without hosts. all Kurama has to do is roar or continuous TBB

I don't know man. They was getting slapped left and right during Kurama attack on the village. I mean if the Uchiha police force had step in, that Kurama would've been raped on so many levels. But everybody else beside the 4th seems like fodders to Kurama.

I don't know. I don't see it Tanking too many head on hits from Tsunade, or the Akimichi Clan, which, if it even consists of more than 10 Chouji level people, should be able to restrain it with the Inuzukas. And Ino, can mind transfer the Juubi for a short period, so she should be able to lock the Kyuubi for Tsunade and Sakura to batter it.

I know I'm gonna get tons of shit, but offensively, Minato wasn't help if you take Obito out of the equation. Tsunade has a much better chance fighting the beast head on.

OT: I believe you are severely underestimating Iwa, they have a Jutsu that could easily restrain Kyubi...
