Hagoromo already stated Ashura inherited his body, Uzumaki have Gedo traits, Senju have the Juubi's KKG, he was shown using RSM avatar in addition to TSB, therefore Ashura had the body of a JuubiJin. Btw Hashirama, Naruto and Uzumaki have all shown the ability to regenerate so you can't deny that Ashura had the capability of regenerating.

Uzumaki do not have Gedo traits, they have a strong life force.

Senju do not have the Juubi's KKG, because The juubi did not have a KKG, neither did the Senju. It was only ever Hashirama who had Mokuton. Not his father, or his decendants, or his reincarnation.

I can easily deny that Ashura had the body of a Juubi Jin. He wasn't a juubi jin, for one thing.

Hashirama's regeneration was as a result of his advanced Medical Ninjutsu, Naruto's was a result of him being a Kyuubi Jinchuriki. Ashura had neither of these.

Thats because mindless Obito was just a marble rolling in a tin can.

Point is, Six Paths Sage Mode grants the user mastery of all things including Onmyoudon. And it requires senjutsu of any sort to counter. Which Indra had to have.

If you assume Indra had Sage Mode because of that eye makeup, then let me tell you that it's eye make up only.

If you think about it, the only way Indra could've battled with his brother who had Six Paths Sage Mode is to use Senjutsu of a sort.

And why is that? Why is Senjutsu required to fight Six Paths Sage Mode? Sasuke never needed any sort of Senjutsu for that. Just MS/EMS powers using Six Paths chakra are enough.

Also I dont think Indra had Six Paths Sage Mode, since he only inherited his fathers eyes.

Maybe Rinnegan can also counter Gudou Dama and Six Paths Sage Mode. Think about it, Sasuke with Rinnegan was able to touch and pull out the Rinne Black Rods, something Sage Mode users could only do. I could be wrong there.

I already told you. Godoudama is countered by Six Paths chakra powered attacks, which Indra could produce. And Six Paths Sage Mode is countered by MS powers in conjunction with Six Paths chakra, which Indra also had.
