Are you serious? Hanabi has canonically beat her ass since she was 6. Read the manga, around when naruto beats neji. You see the past where hanabi surpasses hinata and she gets disowned for being weak and Kurenai looks after her.

Pretty much. All spun out of Hiahsi saying Hinata's skill < Hanabi, who was 5 years younger than her.

Keep in mind, this is the same Hinata who was shown trading blows with Neji and keeping up with his speed and delivery of attacks.

He did because this was a important family matter. Himawari's birthday got ruined because of it. And if you think otherwise than celebrating birthdays may not be as important to you. Secondly he was more angry towards Naruto than he was with Hinata. How is it disrespecting Hinata when his anger was more towards his father? Look away from your biased hate and try to understand. Otherwise don't bother.
