When I really think about Obito's plan.

Lol, do you really support the idea?!?!? It's hilarious. People die everyday. You shouldn't take over the world because you lost someone. That's messed up.

No, I don't support it. However, his decision makes sense. Complete sense. It's not funny. People die every day. But it's not every day you lose someone you love so deeply. He lost Rin, and he thought he could make the world a better place with IT. His decision was an immature one, but for that, you can pin the blame on Madara for twisting him.

Nah you clearly just don't get it.

He wasn't doing it for revenge. In his mind the world is ****ed up. Anyone dying in that world is irrelevant as it is already a ****ed up world regardless. He is trying to create unlimited bliss. Not a complicated concept to grasp :eww:.

It took rin dying for him to come to this conclusion.

Rin isn't the reason she is the Catalyst.

In reality, people cry over spilled milk, I don't see why it's a stretch to give up on the world when you see your love die by your best friend.

It's called moving on. I've lost people and probably all of us have but that's no reason to forsaken the world or even destroy it. No one should be that selfish.

People really lack empathy.

He thought he'd be making the world better. He was young when his loved ones died, he had nobody, and was twisted by Madara. Did you forget Tobirama's lecture on how Uchiha can't move on?

Maybe I'm thinking about this too much. It's a fictional story after all.

Yeah, but I think it's important that fictional characters reflect how real people work so you're probably not.

You don't see the point. If the person you love has died because of the regime of some dictator for example, you would be pissed off and would definitely want to overthrow the government. This would lead to revolution, which cannot happen without sacrifice.

Seriously? Forcing the entire world into an illusion cause you lost someone? Do you even think about how ridiculous that is?

The only other reason is to do it out of hate. He didn't want anyone else to suffer like him and Madara.

I don't give a shit about the world, if my love died, I'd probably follow the dark path

Same here bro

Obito is a pitiful character. Itachi, Hashirama, Kakashi and Tsunade lost more than him and they didn't resort to any of his childish antics.

Godara done brainwash him good.

this guy wants to enslave the world to his illusion just to make it better! A little ridiculous don't you think?
No, not ridiculous by default. The idea itself is great at comes closest to true peace.
because hatred will exist as Long as humanity itself exists. So there is no other way to create true, eternal, absolute peace other than taking away the possibility for humans to do anything and let anyone of them live the life they ever wanted.

It's ridiculous that Obito did it because of Rin. But in fact, it's Madaras plan who lived a life full of cruel war and despair.

A lot of people forget Kakashi went through the same thing, he lost his father to suicide, Obito and Rin but instead of letting himself consume by darkness he didn't, fought and always remembered them. This is why I sympathize with Him and not Obito, I understand Obitos side I really do but Rin during the war completely ruin him for me.

I think it was because Rin was constantly being thrown in our face once Tobi got revealed to be Obito.

It wasn't really that ridiculous, to some people, one thing may mean the whole world and everything. Rin was that thing to obito, she was the only thing he wanted to achieve at that time, and when she died , he knew that he wasn't the only one who lost such a thing/person, thus accepting tsuki no mi as the ultimate plan of fixing the world.
If he merely wanted rin back, he had more than one way to bring her back but he didn't, that goes to show you that he saw the bigger picture.

Obito literally said he traveled the world and saw other people go through the pain and losses like he dude which strengthened his conviction to Tsuki no Me. His plan became more motivated BECAUSE thousands die.

The difference between Kakashi and Obito is that Kakashi lost his loved ones to a system, a faulty one, but couldn't do anything about it and didn't have the conviction. Obito isn't worse than Kakashi, he just had a way of doing something about it while Kakashi just sat back and not only accepted it, but worked for it.

People say Obito is a terrible person for going to such drastic measures to fix a terrible system and sympathize with Kakashi. Kakashi has shown no qualms about killing. Next time, try to think about how many wives have been widowed and how many children have been orphaned by the elite, ANBU black ops, decades active murderer for hire known as Kakashi.
