Sensing abilities can be slow at times compared to speed. Even with prep and thought Madara couldn't evade Sasuke's blow. Speed can saves lifes as well as kill your enemies. You can't always run away.
Also the Madara vs Gai required speed and not sensing which Madara had but it was useless against Gai's attacks particularly the Night Moth which almost killed JJ Madara.

Naruto technically couldn't get hit if you go by Information Kishi gave us.
Fastest Ninja in the world in KM/BM/RSM when he goes Sage Mode he can sense and dodge the fastest Ninja in the World.
Nobody should be able to hit him Speed so fast it deflects TBB by moving past them where did happened,.

That's mean you'll left the battle and let the opponent do what he wanted
but what'll will happen if the opponent is sensor and can mask his chakra and had no evil intention:|...

Madara fought like an Idiot though, barely any strategy...and he had Gai beat if guy didn't have assistance.
All the speed in the world is useless if you can't sense an ambush coming. (That logic only works in Dbz style fights)

Speed still important in fight. Sensing alone wouldnt help.
Even though you can sense the direction of incoming person but if you doesnt have speed to avoid or parrying the incoming attack from that person, you still can be hit by that attack
Let say the person that charge toward you has ftl speed and you just having reaction speed of 500 km/h. From the speed you got, you will get hit by that person easily still even though you can sense his coming.
Even if you put RSM level sensing on a tortoise, he still unable to avoid from getting mash by car.

It works both ways...take away a speedsters sight and hearing and they are helpless. Some balance must be had.

If the enemy had these sensoring abilities to react to speeds tht fast then u can counter
Otherwise impossible
In real life speed always matters

What I'm saying is the balance between the abilities matter...A speedster must still depend on sensory abilities to make their speed effective. (They need to locate the target or react to an attack with some sense)
The same as a Sensor needs some degree of speed.
What good is a blind, def,or completely senseless speedster?
What good is a paralyzed Sensor?
Both are critical...
