And what are you doing to get closer to your goal? In life there are things we want and life naturally throws us obstacles that we need to overcome to attain the object of our desire. As different our aspirations are when you dig deeper you will find that we all want the same thing, the outer layer may only be different.
We all want happiness.
But life will throw us curves, that's a given. When that happens we will resist and try to control the external events, in that time we must remember that the only thing we have full control over is our response. Usually, our goals rarely come to us the way we first envision them. There is a process that must take place for us to attain whatever we seek. In any event, there is an underlying process, however it's in our nature to ignore process and get trapped in instant gratification. We don't simply want to have happiness, we want to sustain it. However to do that we have to get involved with the process, it won't work longterm unless you lay the building blocks. When the time comes that you are finished, you will look back and the memory will create a sustained feeling of happiness that will never go away, because the harder you work at something you want the better you will feel once the work is completed.
