so why don't they use genjutus in there fighting style

1.seeing as there fighting style is basically all chakar control

2. And useing genjutus is basically extending your chakar into someone elsebody and that basically what the gentle fist is

It is not only used in genjustu.

And extending your chakra into someone is only a step of the process.
Ad has to deal with using yin(spiritual energy)

She was never dept at genjustu itself.
Only ever been acknowledged in perceiving it.

She had great chakra control in the fact she could handle gauging the right amount and deciphering when its being used around her.

It doesn't mean she excels at anything and everything related to chakra control

In my opinion, the Hyuga clan is a much better clan for several reasons, though even the Senju's were well versed in genjutsu. Kishimoto did not want the Hyuga clan to outshine the Uchiha clan that he has been favoring ever since creation.

This. A strict cqc user has no need for genjutu that can be launched from 6 miles away. It would defeat the purpose of cqc.
