[Suggestion] Would be nice if there was a "Exclude Member" feature for the threads.

Even though it's mostly unlikely and just me wishing for a pipe dream, it would be admittedly nice if there was a feature where you could exclude one particular member(just one, that being the absolute limit) from your threads where it's completely and utterly invisible for them to see.

In my case, it would be tremendously nice if I were to see at least one Hinata-related thread that were to stay on topic and doesn't contain Femme(or any of the usual three suspects) suddenly intruding in it to bash the character to the worst degree, and making sure the thread goes completely off topic from the intended purpose of the OP. I was somewhat ticked with the most recent one where she went on to call her overweight when the thread wasn't even about that, and instead was about the topic of her receiving Hamura's chakra and on how it affected her, but I digress.

Anyways back on topic, it would be nice if there was a "Exclude Member" feature for the base.

Chillleee im not about to argue something that isn't about Sakura.
Movie was filler.
Main branch possess the chakra.
Case.

Hinata was always on the thicker side, and had a fleshy face, the anime didn't depict this. Not fat, but thick.

You know, many places have an ignore feature that allow people to simply ignore and not be able to read what the other person is writing. I wonder why Narutobase just doesn't ban all the feminist trolls.

This is not needed, the current system we have right now is sufficient, just block the user and move on. I will still forward this to the admins for them to look at it.

This will never happen amd there is really no point to ban just one user.
Blocking a user won't prevent them from going out of their way to deter a thread from it's original purpose.

Not only that, but I wish members had the option to also delete unnecessary comments so the thread itself doesn't get derailed, as you said.

If I create a thread, I don't see why I can't just get rid of whoever I don't want in my thread.

I don't think it's necessarily fair that the mods are the only ones who have this power.
It's my thread. I should have more power when it comes to my own threads.

Contact a mod and we can ban troublesome members from whichever thread it is.
I did throughout my time here, and unfortunately it seems to be ineffective.
(Especially with one particular user that I was admittedly very "vocal" to Zise about, for avoiding getting banned for so long and still to this very day.)

And at one point I even received an infraction for "abusing the report feature" for reporting the troll in question when she went on a bash parade till one of the admins rectified it on my account.

I highly doubt it would happen because the feature would be massively over used as pretty much all threads get off topic and flame wars occur or bashing and i don't think the mods have enough time to it there all day and remove people from threads, so I agree with Dannie, you should be able to remove someone from your thread altogether if they're going off topic or bashing/starting flame wars.

Sorry but giving such a power to normal members leaves too great chances of misuse. All one person needs to do is to ban every counter view from their thread or delete their view( your other demand) according to his own wishes if it doesn't suit his purpose.

What you are asking are moderator powers and they are the person to go to in such a case. So that they can check out if the said person is really breaking rules and deal with such posts and users. We do ban members who interrupt thread or trolling when need be. Just hit the report button and in case of emergency contact an online mod of that section or a g-mod if need be.

Aside from probable misusage of the feature, it's important to remember that NB is a public forum. In that regard, members have a great variety in topic selections in discussions. On the other hand, adding names to a ban list from the get-go isn't warranted. If there is an issue with a member, they can be dealt with by the staff.

It only takes us two clicks to ban a user from a thread. Moreover, it only takes users two clicks to make a report.
