Danzo used Obito's attack to turn the village on the Uchihas so he could get their eyes. Let's say Minato was able to return and save all 3 of his students; Kakashi still would have gotten his development about comrades being put first since he did return to help Obito save Rin. Obito would have went on to better master his Sharingans and would have possibility have lost Rin who gets made into the 3 tails host; Madara made the most anbu do this to push Obito to the dark side but it might not happen since Obito would be there with Kakashi and Rin which can change how things go.

Obito would probably be friends with Shisui and Itachi and seen as their big brother figure like Naruto is with Konohamaru (maybe, depends on how they interact). Minato and Kushina would still be alive which also means the Uchihas would most likely be on better terms with the higher ups since Kushina is friends with the wife of the Uchiha leader. Obito knows Minato well so he can be a mediator between the Uchihas and Minato to try and fix anything that is bothering them; such as being disliked for being the police force as Orochimaru implied to Edo Tobirama. The village seemed to be doing ok without the police force so it might be closed down or reinvented to be seen in a better way by the villagers.

Edo Minato also told Obito that he would have liked for Obito to become Hokage after him which would show the Uchihas that they have rights like anyone else as long as they can control themselves. Also it was Obito and Itachi who pulled off the massacre, Sasuke stated that Itachi himself couldn't take out the whole clan (this is 13 yr old Itachi who is less skilled than part 1 Itachi and Shippuden Itachi.

Madara never told Obito to attack Konoha though. And Obito never thought of Madara as a comrade. He never followed Madara's plan, even if Madara gave him the idea.
