The kid couldn't even catch joki boy, his sand was struggling to keep up. So how can he contest with Ay. Basically a repeat of the beating Lee gave Gaara, except this is far worse.

From 50m he instantly raises a sand tsunami to block Ay's LoS, creates a sand clone or two, and takes flight. The whole fight revolves around Ay attempting to avoid his attacks, while Gaara comfortably sits on his sand cloud from up above. It's essentially an unenertaining game of cat and mouse. AoE attacks shit on Ay. Ay can't touch Gaara or differentiate him with his clones. Gaara wins comfortably.

Gaara wins due to his overpowered sand clone substitution. Using his sand from beneath Ay is one way to catch him without being evaded, since if he can't see it, his insane reaction and movement speed are irrelevant. Gaara's flight should also be a terrible match-up for Ay regardless of how high he can jump.

The Sand Hail is obviously the easiest method to catch Ay. Ay can't continuously Shunshin, Shunshin is a burst of movement. Sand from above, below and behind will be impossible for him to dodge since he can't perceive them all at the same time.

Irrelevant. Gaara not using maximum AoE doesn't change the speed of his sand. The sand in his gourd is always infused with his chakra and because of that, its faster. The sand he uses from crunching minerals in the earth is not as fast. Joki Boi out ran the sand in his gourd, his fastest sand, so how will Ay be caught by sand thats slower than that?

speed is irrelevant when the sand is to large to dodge to began with quit acting like a dumbass

example deidara c3 is slower and big yet A would not be able to dodge that so pointless

Another dumb post. Kimimaro was evading all of Gaaras faster gourd sand, but was getting hit all day with Gaaras slower AoE sand. Read the manga and know what you're saying before posting garbage in every thread you open.
