Do You Like Tsunderes?

I've recently realized that I HATE tsunderes in anime. Theyre so overused and and the whole 'keep beating up and treat the main char like trash' thing isnt funny to me. And the main char ALWAYS chooses the tsundere over all the nice girls on the series. It's so repetitive

I've tried watching some slice of life anime but there is always a tsundere and she always annoys me. That's the main reason I avoid that genre

Do you guys like tsunderes?

I like them. I haven't seen them too much for me to start hating them but yeah, I know they're in a lot of stuff.

It depends on how much of a biatch they are though. If they're too much of one then it gets annoying. I don't consider Sakura a tsundere though.

I hated when Karin did it, but then again, I just don't like her.

Only if that is that character's only or main contribution to the plot. Most tsunderes don't sit right to me unless but if they have some other worth that outweighs them treating the MC like trash, they're good in my book.

No. I really don't like them. They are such an overused trope that even the classic Shonen hero seem like a refreshing and original take by comparison.

I saw an anime where the main char saved the tsundere from DROWNING. he jumped in the water and pulled her out then she was unconscious and he gave her mouth to mouth. instead of being appreciative, the girl coughed up water, saw him above her, then punched the shit out of him for being a perv

No. I freaking hate them and everything they stand for. When I see ponytails and that ''dog tooth'' I'm tempted to just drop the anime.

Although, the all-mighty Senjougahara is a clear exception to this, as she's just... too awesome to hate. Some other exceptions include Michiru from Grisaia no Kajitsu and Michiru (lol) from Plastic Memories.
