For example, that one mafia guy who fought Zebra in the past was all cool around him. He wasn't trying to get him back for doing that to him or get stronger at all. Toriko cared more about Komatsu being taken than he was about Ichiryuu's death. There is much to be desired in terms of the characters different relationships to one another.
I really don't get why people approach the series Toriko the same way like series such as Naruto or One Piece. 99.9% of Toriko characters are fully matured and are adults; they won't be so vengeful over meaningless confrontations. Looking at Match's case (the dude you're referring too), it'd be irrational for him to take revenge over Zebra since he's the one who challenged him. It's logical to assume that he took responsibility for his actions.
As for Toriko and the whole Komatsu/Ichiryu situation. We don't know the full extent of Toriko's relationship with his father but Toriko at the moment was filled with despair. I'm not saying you're entirely wrong since I do agree he could of showed a bit more emotion into Ichiryu's death during the confrontation with Midora. However, Toriko lost not only lost an important fight but more importantly failed as a bishokuya and failed to protect a chef. His dream was incredibly crushed at that moment.
I'm confident the characters interactions will grow with the arcs focused on Sunny/livebearer, Coco/Tairan, Toriko/Starjun & Zebra/Brunch. The future arcs will fix my issue with the lack of backstories seeing how a chef like Yuda got an amazing backstory in the recent chapter of Toriko.
Match clearly considered Zebra an enemy back in Ice Hell and even wanted to fight Toriko, but just because he became friends with Toriko doesn't mean he should suddently be cool with Zebra. How can you declare a fight like that meaningless? It might be meaningless to you but don't speak for others then. If Match is a coward who doesn't dare to fight Zebra again then we should know that. Also I never saw anywhere that Match attacked Zebra first or how the fight went down, could you give me a scan for that?
It doesn't matter if Toriko is a series full of adult characters, they definitely don't behave like adults most of the time and I wouldn't consider One Piece to be a story with kids in it, you may be a Toriko fan but don't insult other series. Toriko got raised by Ichiryuu but only knew Komatsu for a few months so it makes absolutely no sense for him to be more depressed about Komatsu being kidnapped than his fathers death.
What information do you have to support that he saw Zebra as an enemy? He just stated that he tried to challenge him:

What are you talking about that I'm insulting those series? I was just saying, don't expect Toriko characters to act in the same manner as One Piece/Naruto characters. It was never an insult to either series. In fact, I'm more of a One Piece fan than Toriko Even with Naruto, I still enjoy the series, even though I disliked the final arc. Anyways, if you actually read my post, you'd see why I don't think you're wrong and in some way I could see why he cared about Komatsu so much. Toriko could of definitely showed a bit more emotion.
