I still don't see a true valid counter to amaterasu. I just don't think samehada can absorb it when he was in pain just from itachi's fire ball. But in the case that counter is valid, Kisame stomps MS Sasuke all day.

Kisame is already aware of MS abilities through Itachi and can counter them effectively with intel. Sasuke's other techniques aren't a threat to Kisame imo. On the other hand Sasuke ha no intel on water dome, GSB, Samehada's absoprtion...

It will cause Samehada pain, but Kisame won't give a ****, and will coerce him to absorb the chakra. As long as samehada absorbs chakra he will regenerate.

Regardless of that though, I think Kisame has this. GSB ruins Susano'o variants, and without Susano'o, MS Sasuke has nothing going for him against Kisame. Amaterasu should be forcibly absorbed by Samehada.

Fail. Samehada was in pain, but nothing implies it can't absorb Ama as it absorbed the fireball. Kisame treats samehada like a weapon and has no problem putting samehada through discomfort. He will use samehada to absorb Amateratsu.

Sorry its not gonna eat something multiple times more severe when a simple fireball got Samehada going through pain. Nothing points at Samehada being able to. To this day there is no counter for amaterasu, only fan fiction.
