He gets under susanoo like with lord madara which also renders yata useless. Even if Itachi tries for totsuka, it can't get past shukakus defense, Amaterasu wouldn't work (proven when gaara fought sasuke), and no genjutsus would work if he uses the ball of sand he used in the chuunin exams.

Itachi is out of moves. All he can do is dance around until gaara sand envelops him completely.

Easy u do know Itach has Yata and Totsuka? Crow jutsu...he was always stronger than Sasuke.He would always find a way to defeat his opponent.He was the strongest ninja in Naruto verse.That's the reason why Kishi killed him without an explanation...cause u just couldn't kill him.
