Would it have been more impactful for story, if Teuchi was Tobi instead of Obito?

This has been something on my mind for the longest time. Since hearing lots of time that Naruto and his generation have no deep ties to people like Obito or legends like Madara&Kaguya. So the thought appeared in my head of the main villian of the series being based in deception and betrayal like Aizen. Teuchi fit this persona most in my view affecting Narutos generation and past ones to big degree with his ramen. So now I ask you members? Would the biggest joke in Naruto made one of the best shockers in anime history if it had been done?

That's why I think it would have been a good move. That and the speculation of him being an Uchiha would give him a connection to Sasuke never thought of before while with Naruto it would be like him fighting a better version of the respected old man Hiruzen!

No. Obito did have ties to Naruto. He was behind the Kyuubi attack, and the Uchiha Massacre. That's two main character's tragic backstories he's directly caused.
