No doubt that Himawari is the prodigy of that family, but I seriously doubt we can expect her to pull something like that off in actual combat

Neji was also able to take down Kidomaru by closing only one of his chakra points, similar to what Himawari did to naruto. In both cases, Neji and Himawari were able to take down an opponent by closing only one point. This means that 64 palms is a technique that is designed to carefully cripple the opponent while still keeping them alive/conscious, which would explain why it's a difficult technique to learn. So yeah, gentle fist can basically one shot if the user chooses.
