It doesn't need to. It's implied Hinata has it because she's from the main branch of the Hyuga/direct descendent from Hamura and the Byakugan Hime.

Sorry, still don't see it. Given that all Hyugas' inherited his chakra. Kinda like how Senju and Uchiha started from Ashura and Indra. He gave her squat, and, no where in those images is it even remotely implied. So, let's not make it more than it is.

I never said Hinata was given anything. The movie implies main branch Hyuga's have it. Hinata and Hanabi were singled out by Toneri because of their pure bloodline and status. It's why Toneri came to Hiashi first, and requested he give him (Toneri) one of his daughters.

That was the point of the thread I think, well at least, the debate is about whether Hinata was given a power up in The Last or not...
The ones who believes she did get one, back up their opinion with the new purple color of her chakra, and the fact that she said she had Hamura's chakra TOO.

I find it a really poor defense, given that other colors changed too without no explanation at all, and since all Hyuuga were confirmed descendants of Hamura, they carry his blood and his chakra properties or type of chakra, but that's just me...
